The Theatre and Concert Group has the following upcoming events planned.

It seems that some members are reluctant to come on theatre visits if they do not have their own transport, and they do not like to depend on others. With increases in group size, we can hire a minibus from Stokesley but we need sufficient numbers to do so. If you don’t book until you see if there is transport, then it is chicken and egg! So please, in future, send (with the booking form and cheque) an indication that transport is essential for you to book and then your ticket will only be booked on condition that transport is made available.

Saturday 20th February 2010	Theatre Royal Newcastle, 2.30 p.m. Pride and Prejudice, starring Susan Hampshire Tickets £25. Book by December 20th.

Monday 8th March	Theatre Royal Newcastle, 7.30 p.m. Enjoy by Alan Bennett, starring Alison Steadman and David Troughton Tickets £25. Book by 6th January.

Saturday 20th March	Theatre Royal Newcastle, 2.30 p.m. Matthew Bourne's Swan Lake - a revival of his highly acclaimed ballet with male dancers as the Swans. (A snippet was shown in Billy Elliot.) Tickets £31 - book soon if you want to reserve your place, even though your cheques will not be cashed until much later this year. If you need to cancel, we can get a credit note for the Theatre Royal up to 24 hours before the performance.
