Natural History Group


The aims of this group are to promote and share members' interests in natural history.  This takes the form of outdoor visits and rambles, together with indoor meetings that concentrate on the varied interests of the group. Meetings are generally held on the 3rd Thursday of every month.

All visits and talks start at 10.30 unless specified otherwise. Indoor meetings are held in Room 2 at the Community Care Centre above the Library in the Stokesley Town Close complex.

Nov 17   Visit to Whitby Museum   Cost £3.50. Meet at museum entrance at 10.30.
         
Dec 8   Joint meeting with Garden Group followed by Christmas lunch at Y'Thai restaurant, Stokesley

Feb 16   Fungi and Slime Moulds. Photographs and talk.

May 17   Beckdale (Helmsley) and Ashbury Pastures. Spring flowers.   Details later.
