Music Group

We meet on the 4th Thursday of each month at 10.00 am in the group leader's house in Great Ayton, to listen to and discuss member’s favourite pieces of music. Rather than embark on long pieces initially we are selecting short pieces, or movements from long works, to listen to. Meetings might feature certain themes in music, for example, solo instruments from sonatas or concertos, film music, arias and choruses from opera, or music by a single composer.

Because of the limited space in the leader's house (10 members) please give him a ring before you attend. (See the Newsletter for his telephone number.)

Next meeting May 26th  - German Composers . Future topics will be decided at the next meeting and there will be a change in the meeting date in September – more details later.
