Family History Group

Our enthusiastic members are all at different levels of research - some complete newcomers, and some who have been searching for that elusive member of their family for years. Some members with experience in family history - although they don't consider themselves to be "experts" - help all members to make progress.

Although it is early days, the group has begun by operating on a workshop theme with some members being shown how to use the family history programs on the computers in the Library, while other discuss their "sticking points" or search the literature provided.

We meet on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month in the Stokesley Community Care Centre (above the library) from 1:30 to 3 p.m. If you would like to join, please contact the Group Leader.
