Bridge
There are now two Bridge Groups.
Starting on 17 October, a new group of beginners is meeting at Swainby Village Hall on Monday afternoons at 1.45 p.m. This group is now full.
The 'original' Bridge Group meets weekly on Tuesdays, from 1.30 pm to 4.15 pm at Swainby Village Hall.
The Group plays supervised 'duplicate' style bridge at a gentle, relaxed pace, with help available both for bidding and for declarer and defence play. These sessions are preceded with a short presentation from our group leader on a bidding or play topic. On the first week of the month we play 'Chicago' style bridge.
The group is open to new members who have some experience of the game - it need not be much!
