Armchair Travel

Meetings of the Armchair Travel Group take place at 10.30 a.m. on the third Friday of every month, in the room in the Community Centre (above Stokesley Library in Town Close). There will be a small charge to cover the hire of the room and refreshments.

Discussions centre on a monthly topic, but can be far ranging!

Please feel free to come along and take part, even if you haven’t visited any destination being discussed. Research into the history and culture of the area will be very welcome.

Upcoming meetings

In addition, we are intending to discuss other related travel issues at some of our meetings e.g. the impact of travel on the environment, local cultures, etc.
